I can only include flags and emblems that are listed under licenses that require no attribution (i.e. the ones that are in the Public Domain) on Wikipedia. Since that does not apply to all flags and emblems, the ones that require attribution are not included. Out of the flags of countries that exist currently, none requires attribution, which means that nothing is missing in the โCountriesโ category. Click here for more information on licenses.About the countries with limited recognition:
โLimited recognitionโ means that a country is not recognized by all other countries, therefore making its recognition by the international community limited. This means that technically even countries like China, South Korea or Cyprus could be considered as having limited recognition (For more information, click here). The criteria for listing countries under the limited recognition category was whether they are recognized by the majority of UN member states. This labeling does not necessarily reflect my personal political views on these matters; it is solely intended to offer a rule to go by when making a decision about such complex and multi- faceted issues.Regarding Kosovo ๐ฝ๐ฐ and Taiwan ๐น๐ผ, I strongly support their freedom and independence and recognize them as countries, but the fact is that they do enjoy only limited recognition by the international community, which is something I cannot change. Thus, for the sake of consistency and compliance with my own rules, I had to label them as having limited recognition.
About flags with extremist/radical symbols and meanings:
Some flags include symbols of extremist or radical ideologies and movements (like the Hammer and Sickle on the flag of Transnistria) or are in themselves a symbol of such (like the old flag of South Africa). I expressly distance myself from any of these ideologies and their followers. The game only shows flags and people have to guess what country they belong to, nothing more and nothing less. It is only intended to educate people about flags and entertain them and does not follow any political agenda.Game modes in which communist symbols migth be shown:
